School of Law
Sha'arei Mishpat Law School is one of the established law schools in the country. Since 1994, the Law School has trained thousands of leading lawyers and attorneys, within all sectors of the economy including the legal system, business and academia.
The Dean of Sha’arei Mishpat Law School is Professor Aviad Ha'cohen. Prof. Ha'cohen is a respected and active figure in Israeli law. In addition to his work as a lawyer and law lecturer, he has published dozens of articles and serves as editor of several law journals. Additional faculty includes senior academics, attorneys and public officials who divide their time between academia and the public sphere.
The unique advantage of the Sha’arei Mishpat Law School is the integration of high-level academic studies with practical legal training. The law school curriculum is diverse and rich, providing a broad knowledge base and offering practical internships in the school’s legal clinics.
While striving for academic excellence, the Law School has won the reputation of having a strong support system for students. The Law School maintains an open communication channel between the students, academic staff and administrative staff. This communication is the foundation of the ideology that guides Sha’arei Mishpat Academic Center, whose goal is the creation of a pluralistic academic space with a social impact.
In addition, the curriculum includes the development of key indicators for success in a constantly changing and dynamic world – including the concept of emotional intelligence (EQ). Sha’arei Mishpat is the only academic center in the country currently including EQ in its curriculum, joining many of the top universities in the United States.
"As we celebrate two decades of education, we welcome each and every one of you and invite you to join thousands of students and alumni who have acquired wisdom, understanding and knowledge within the walls of Sha’arei Mishpat."
